Tween/Teen Sewing Workshop with Sew It!

Attendees are expected to be on time for all programs. A grace period of 10 minutes will be given to patrons attending a program. Admittance after this arrival time is at the discretion of the library staff.

Programs may be cancelled for a number of reasons, chiefly: severe weather, absence of the presenter, or low registration. Cancelled programs are not automatically rescheduled.

Tween/Teen Sewing Workshop with Sew It!

July 15 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm


During this workshop led by Ellen Lumpkin Brown, sewing instructor and owner of Sew It!, you’ll learn to use a sewing machine and create a decorative fireworks pillow! All supplies and equipment provided. No previous sewing experience required.

This program takes place at the Main Library and is best suited for ages 8 – 18. Please register in advance so we can contact you in case of cancellation. Registration opens two weeks prior to the event.
