Newark native and singer Rhonda Denet pays tribute to Aretha Franklin and other “queens” of different genres including Donna Summer (Queen of Disco), Chaka Khan (Queen of Funk) and Tina Turner (Queen of Rock-n-Roll) and other heavy hitters like Diana Ross, Gladys Knight, Etta James, Natalie Cole, and Whitney Houston. Rhonda has performed throughout the region and across the country with appearances at concert halls, theaters, clubs, resorts, museums and premier wedding venues such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Lincoln Center Theater, New York Friar’s Club, Waldorf Astoria, B. B. Kings Bar & Grill, and Ashford & Simpson’s Sugar Bar.
