Public Computers
The Library has PC desktops available for public use whenever the Library is open. All of the terminals have internet access and are equipped with Microsoft Office software, including Word and Excel.
Computer workstations in the Adult Department may be used by patrons in the seventh grade and up. A few computers are reserved for Teens only.
Computer workstations in the Children’s Department may be used only by children, preschool through grade 6. Adults who accompany their children may use the computers in the children’s room.
Patrons may sign on to a computer using their Union Public Library card. Guest passes may be available for patrons 18+ from out of town. Computer sessions are limited.
The Union Public Library does not monitor Internet use, has no control over the information accessed through the Internet, and cannot be held responsible for its content. The computer workstations are located in public areas which must be shared by users of all ages, backgrounds, and sensibilities. Individuals are expected to consider this when accessing potentially controversial information and images
Wifi
Library patrons may also use their own devices to access the library’s free wireless service.

- Flash drives $4.00
- Ear buds $1
Fees:
- There is no charge for using the library’s computers. Printing is available for $0.15 per page, black and white, or $0.50 per page in color.
- All prints are single-sided on 8/1/2 x 11 size sheets of paper.
- Patrons may not use their own paper in library printers.
