Over the past several years, our library has experienced a period of significant transition. While our address briefly changed during a temporary relocation, the opening of our new library building at the original site represents both return and renewal, honoring our history while creating space for the future.
The new facility has allowed us to expand services, introduce new technologies, and welcome additional staff whose skills and perspectives strengthen our ability to meet the evolving needs of our community. Throughout this period of growth and change, we have remained focused on being intentional, inclusive, and responsive, ensuring that all community members feel welcome and supported.
This strategic plan reflects the lessons learned during our transition and the priorities that will guide us forward. It is informed by community feedback, staff insight, and a shared commitment to equity, access, and lifelong learning. Our goals emphasize enhancing the patron experience, investing in staff development, strengthening partnerships, and using our spaces and resources in ways that serve the full diversity of our community.
As we move ahead, this plan will serve as a flexible roadmap that supports thoughtful decision-making while allowing us to adapt to changing needs and opportunities. The library remains a place of connection, exploration, and discovery, rooted in its previous location and renewed in purpose.
